In the seemingly ordinary modern city of Tangqi City, four high school students - the calm Lin Sen, the unruly Xin Rui, the gentle Xia Yan, and the rational Jiang Yang - each inherited the power of the ancient Four Elephants Saint Cloth by chance, and transformed into the contemporary guardians of the Azure Dragon, White Tiger, Suzaku, and Xuanwu. They thought they had just gained the superpower to punish evil and promote good, but they didn't know that they had been involved in a huge cause and effect that spanned thousands of years.
