Blazing Blade, Burning City

Shen Xiao, the kingpin of Gang City, is assassinated. His only daughter, Shen Yuyan, hides her grief and takes up a gun to seize control of the chaotic South City Docks, the fruit of her father’s life’s work and a den of wolves circling their prey. As soon as she takes the reins, she runs into Fu Chenzhou, who has a monopoly over half the city’s underground trade. A cigarette between his fingers, he regards her with an impenetrable chill. “Little girl, you can’t protect your territory with tears.” But Shen Yuyan answers with a bloody fight that makes everyone see the truth: her blade is sharper than any man’s gun, and her ruthlessness is no less than that of any old fox. Fu Chenzhou thinks he has found a new target, but after one clash after another, he discovers that the hilt of this “blazing blade” bears an old mark tied to his own youth. When the fire of South City meets the ice of North City, will they burn the city and seize its territory, or will one of them fall first when their blades meet?
