Bearing the Sword of Seven Sins, I Ask the Supreme Dao for Dispassion

[Epic Ensemble Cast + Slow-Burn Power Struggle + Choices of Civilization + Sin-Sword System + Factional Schemes + No System + Multiple Heroines]

On the night his family was destroyed, what Ling Mo awakened in a pool of blood was the power of the Seven Deadly Sins, branded into his bloodline. Seven forbidden swords granted him the power to destroy, and branded him a “demon fetus.” The only reason he wielded his swords was to rescue his younger sister, taken by the Supreme Sect of Unfeeling and made into a “spirit of the Heavenly Dao.”

To find his only family, he joins the unusual Red Dust Heart-Refining Sect and cultivates the Seven Emotions and Six Desires Art, learning to master his sins amid the mortal world. But when he points his sword at the heavens and vows to overthrow this heartless order, he glimpses a suffocating truth: the Supreme Sect of Unfeeling, which sees him as its sworn enemy, has for generations guarded the rift between worlds, sacrificing human desire to hold back the Outer Heavenly Demons.

And so, a battle to save one person suddenly becomes the ultimate choice that will decide whether civilization survives:

On one side are the old gods, who preach “abandoning all emotion and becoming a bulwark of the Heavenly Dao.”

On the other are the Outer Heavenly Demons, who seek to devour all emotion and order.

And Ling Mo, clutching the power of the Seven Sins that both sides consider an “error,” stands alone on the edge of a cliff.

His path is strewn with thorns, but he is destined not to walk it alone:

The saintess who once hunted him without mercy rebels against her sect over a “logical flaw,” becoming his most dangerous confidante.

A demon princess from Chaos admires the intensity of his desires and seeks to lead him toward either destruction or ecstasy.

The younger sister he swore to find grows colder by the day, becoming the old world’s perfect sacrifice and its greatest wild card.

And his steadfast mortal friend, like an unyielding stone, wields a sword of plain iron to embody humanity’s refusal to bend.
