Synopsis

Also known as: Backrooms, What Kind of Catastrophic Start Is This? A company in the United States began implementing a parallel-dimension expansion plan, with irreversible consequences. It forcibly opened a new dimension known as the “Backrooms,” triggering massive energy fluctuations. Spatial rifts between the Backrooms and reality have appeared around the world. Li Yu, Dai Kun, Chen Li, Lu Wenhao, Zhu Xiaokun, and Wang Hongrui fell into the Backrooms after encountering strange phenomena. Forcibly opening the door to the Backrooms triggered a Void invasion. Using their abilities, Void creatures forcibly altered the Backrooms, causing it to be remade and changing its levels and entities. With over a hundred million people missing, this place has become increasingly impossible to make sense of. The DLC, War of the Partygoers, arrives, and the Second War of the Partygoers officially begins. After enduring life-and-death trials and internal strife, the protagonists finally unite to defeat the Party Host. With new content added, the protagonists must face gods as mortals. Justice will come to the Backrooms, but is there really such a thing as justice in this world? This is only the beginning of the story to come. The Void is about to devour the Backrooms. This novel tells the story of the protagonists and various organizations joining forces to fight the Void invasion and protect this new home for humanity.
