Tales of the Northeast: The Fierce Dragon Takes to the Seas

Four years passed in the blink of an eye. The iron gates of Shencheng Prison were about to open for Zhao Weidong, who had completed his four-year sentence. On the eve of his release, he put on a crisp suit, shed the aura of a convict, and concealed the sharp edge he had kept in reserve, leaving only a steady, penetrating presence. At noon the next day, the moment his paperwork was completed, he strode out through the prison gates. Behind him followed the core group who had shared life and death with him over the past four years, their loyalty forged like iron. Their purposeful footsteps and imposing presence were enough to make anyone uneasy. News of Zhao Weidong’s release swept through Shencheng in an instant, stirring up a storm across the city. The underworld’s fearless, sharp-edged war god of four years ago had finally returned, still carrying his fierce spirit. Honed by prison and covert battles to the death, he had quietly risen into a force to be reckoned with among Shencheng’s criminal factions. Yet he was nothing like the other gangs that preyed on the innocent and terrorized their territory. He held fast to his principles and never harmed ordinary people. Instead, he often reached out to the weak and stood up for the bullied. When faced with thugs and troublemakers, he fought violence with violence, using the harshest methods to clear away the darkness and protect the peace in his own way.
