Northeast Tales: Dragons and Tigers Behind Bars

Northeastern Tales: Tigers Behind Bars follows Zhao Weidong, who is imprisoned for avenging his brother. At Liaoning No. 1 Prison, he keeps a low profile and bides his time as he rises through the ranks. Facing oppression from criminal gangs inside the prison, including the “Northeastern Tiger” Zhang Xiaolin and the “Northwestern Wolf” Ma Jianjun, he conceals his fearsome reputation, endures humiliation, observes in secret, and builds up his strength. From a quiet inmate who neither starts trouble nor backs down from it, he becomes a man willing to punish thugs to protect the weak. Then, step by step, he dismantles and conquers the prison's major factions, bringing the once-arrogant prison kingpins under his command. Behind bars, he wields his fists as a warning and his wits as his weapon. Not only does he secure his place in the prison, he also quietly builds a network spanning the entire facility, laying the crucial groundwork for his return to power in the underworld after his release.
