The Laid-Back Actress’s Many Secret Identities

Su Wanwan is a minor celebrity with barely any fame. Her goal in life is to eat, sleep, and wait for death, living as an utterly ordinary couch potato. But after waking up one day, she finds she’s married at first sight to Gu Yichen, the ruthless, decisive business tycoon of legend!

She assumes it’s a marriage of convenience between wealthy families: they each get what they want, then go their separate ways. But why is the CEO acting stranger and stranger?

By day, he’s a cold, ascetic CEO, an icy mountain of a man. By night, he turns clingy, clutching a pillow as he knocks on her bedroom door. “Honey, I’m afraid of the dark.”

Su Wanwan: “?”

What happened to the marriage of convenience? What happened to having no feelings?

Even more unbelievable, her own couch-potato career takes off after she marries into wealth. Her haters become true fans, and opportunities come knocking. She lies flat all the way to becoming an award-winning actress.

When she finally stands on the awards stage, ready to give a couch-potato acceptance speech, Gu Yichen rushes up and confesses his love to her in front of a global livestream. “Honey, thank you for curing my illness.”

Su Wanwan is completely baffled: Wait, what illness did I cure? How come I don’t know about it?

It turns out that this seemingly perfect CEO has a shocking secret behind closed doors… and she is the only cure.
