Why Is the CEO Like That?

After three years of hard work, Su Qianqian finally saved enough for a down payment, only to have a man in a flashy pink sports car swoop in and buy the house right out from under her. Even more absurdly, the very next day, he became her new boss!

His first day on the job brings three changes, and the first one is aimed straight at her. Su Qianqian is forced into an office life of wits and wiles against a drama-king CEO.

He pretends to have amnesia to gain sympathy, so she plays along and sends him to a psychiatric hospital. He stages an injury to win her pity, so she calls the police. He makes a heartfelt confession, so she pulls out her phone and records it as potential evidence in court.

Su Qianqian: “Boss, I can’t play along with this. I’m out!”

The CEO: “Wait! That’s not how the script goes! Come back and I’ll pay you more!”

A ridiculous love story about a savvy office worker and an Oscar-worthy CEO who torment each other in a chaotic workplace, only to discover that they’re each other’s best opponent, and best teammate.
