A Long Summer

[Fake aloof, actually sultry top student seme × short-tempered, prickly, tsundere campus bully uke]

[Equally matched leads, both virgins, mutual secret crushes, childhood friends, sweetness from start to finish]

“Hello, my childhood friend, my nemesis, my beloved, the person I plan to spend my whole life with.”

The whole school was convinced that top student Jiang Yu and campus bully Lu Zhao were mortal enemies. Then one evening

Lu Zhao suddenly leaned in.

Jiang Yu's heart stopped. He instinctively closed his eyes, his Adam's apple bobbing.

After a long moment, no kiss came.

He opened his eyes, only to see Lu Zhao taking a huge bite out of the biggest scoop of ice cream in his hand.

“Top student,” Lu Zhao said with the grin of a cat that had stolen a treat, his tongue brushing the corner of his mouth. “When you closed your eyes just now... what were you waiting for?”

Jiang Yu's gaze darkened behind his glasses.

The next second, he grabbed Lu Zhao by the nape and kissed him fiercely, sweeping up both the sweetness Lu Zhao had stolen and the chill of the ice cream.

“This.”

Only later did everyone find out

Jiang Yu's phone was full of embarrassing photos of Lu Zhao from childhood onward. His diary was filled with Lu Zhao's name, and he only ever accepted love letters from him.

Atop a snowy mountain, the sunrise blazed like molten gold.

Jiang Yu slipped a pair of rings onto their fingers. “Lu Zhao, for the rest of our lives, I'll climb every mountain with you.”
