Strange Tales from the Old City!

Su Xiao investigates urban mysteries. Recently, she received a report that every night at midnight, the sewing machine in an old-town tailor shop starts up, though no one has ever seen the shopkeeper. Disguised as a customer, she enters and notices something strange about the shop's mirror: reflections always move a beat too slowly, and in one corner of the glass, the figure of a woman in a qipao is always visible.

Su Xiao searches through the old town's archives and discovers that twenty years ago, the tailor shop's owner vanished while making a qipao. The unfinished garment is exactly like the one worn by the woman in the mirror. That night, Su Xiao secretly stays in the shop and sees the sewing machine start running by itself. Slowly, the words “Save me” appear on the fabric. Just then, the mirror suddenly shatters, and a piece of cloth embroidered with the character Su falls out. Su Xiao's grandmother was an apprentice to the shopkeeper who vanished all those years ago.
