Starlight Falls Into His Arms

Female star vs. police detective

At a bar, Li Sheng gets dumped. Drunk, she picks the hottest man there: "Police Captain Song Yu? You're mine tonight."

The next day, Weibo explodes: Top-tier star takes a mystery man to a hotel for the night. Her manager yells, "You slept with the Grim Reaper himself!" At the police station, everyone asks, "Boss, are you the trending topic?"

Song Yu storms into the station, only to find Li Sheng detained for clubbing. He says coldly, "Call your family to bail you out." Li Sheng sweetly dials and says, "Honey." Song Yu's phone rings, and everyone struggles not to laugh.

Her three older brothers come to get her, grinning. "Brother-in-law, welcome to the trending topics!"

In the hallway, Song Yu pins Li Sheng against the wall. "I'm not enough for you? You had to hire a male escort?"

At an awards ceremony, she reveals he uses handcuffs to coax her to sleep. Her fans go wild with laughter.

Li Sheng files a missing-person report: "My husband is gone!" Song Yu appears, hoists her over his shoulder, and says, "Time to make up your homework."

At the wrap party, the director is about to introduce her boyfriend when Song Yu arrives with his team and surrounds them. "So, you want to come have a chat with the Criminal Investigation Division?" Li Sheng throws herself at him. "Honey, your gun's poking me." Song Yu chuckles. "If it goes off when we get home, that's on you."
