An Encounter with a Rose

Three years ago, on the racetrack, racing champion Li Jin was beaten by a mysterious female driver named Xia Zhi in a “kiss of death.” Their cars went head to head. Wearing a mask and a black cap, she taunted him before driving off. After the race, he overheard her arguing with her ex-boyfriend. She said coldly that her life belonged to her. The following year, Li Jin was badly injured and abandoned by everyone. His own father even hired someone to kill him. At the critical moment, Xia Zhi raced over on her motorcycle and hauled him onto the back seat. “If you’re not dead, get on by yourself.” Only then did he learn that she was a genius painter, wild about motorcycles and skateboards, with a tragic childhood and a rebellious streak. Li Jin started clinging to her, joining her in wild adventures and drinking. She taught him to smoke and taught him to race. When her stepsister set her sights on him, he sneered, “You’re nowhere near as exciting as your sister.” In his first race after returning to the sport, he was on the verge of losing. Just before the finish line, she showed up in a short skirt and yelled, “If you’ve got what it takes, crush them!” He gritted his teeth and took first place. After that, she rode her motorcycle to pick him up after every race. Leaning against her shoulder, he’d say, “Faster. I’m ready to fly.” When people at karaoke mocked him, Xia Zhi asked, “Who the hell do you think you are?” On the day he became national champion, he rode his motorcycle over, pulled her onto the back seat, and kissed her wildly. Was that exciting enough? He could go even wilder. Xia Zhi told him to go faster. At the championship final, she kissed him and said, “Win, and I’ll marry you.” He risked his life to cross the finish line, then slipped a ring onto her finger. “You’re mine. Don’t even think about running.” On their wedding night, he chuckled. “I go wild on the track, and I’m even wilder in bed. Haven’t you experienced that for yourself, Mrs. Li?” After they married, he launched his own brand. In an interview, he said, “There’s no shame in losing to my wife. She’s the one who saved me.” Later, rumors spread that CEO Li had twins every year and kept the genius painter close in his arms, vowing to crush the red rose and fall into hell together.
