Reborn in 1980: The Hunter’s Seven Daughters Are All Treasures

Winter, 1980. The snowbound forests of the Greater Khingan Range.

The lonely old man Kang Quanying died in grief while paying tribute to his late wife, only to be reborn at the turning point of his life: his wife had just given birth to their seventh daughter, and his stepmother and younger brother were pressuring him to adopt his nephew and abandon his own child.

In his previous life, he had spent his days in a fog, neglecting his wife and daughters in pursuit of a male heir. In the end, he was left abandoned by everyone and froze to death in a snowstorm. Now, looking at his seven pale, thin daughters on the kang and his wife, whose heart had turned to ash, he finally understood.

He would sever ties with his family with a woodcutter’s axe and drive off evil with a cudgel! Every demon and monster who had bullied him, humiliated him, or sought to suck the blood from his wife and daughters would pay the price!

Starting with a pheasant and a rabbit, he reclaimed his skills as a hunter. Setting snares, digging traps, training dogs, and shouldering a rifle, he would fight for a future of comfort and plenty for his seven girls in these vast forests!

This is the story of a man seeking redemption and a father’s comeback. It is also the passionate legend of a Northeast Chinese hunter who, amid the tides of a changing era, used courage and ingenuity to give his family a place to call home!
