The Hemp-Robed Heavenly Master: My Policewoman Partner Isn't So Cold

"If the King of Hell says you'll die at the third watch, I'll keep you alive until the fifth."

Chen Mo, last heir to the Ma Yi School of physiognomy, has a pure Yang body and is burdened with the life-taking "Yin Sha Tribulation." Following his master's final instructions, he hides among ordinary people, only for the frosty policewoman Su Liang to show up and denounce him as a "fraud."

A star officer on the police force, Su Liang believes in evidence above all else. But a string of bizarre murders drives her to desperation: victims vanishing under surveillance cameras, an official whose hair turns white overnight, and a corpse with a kuman thong hidden in its belly. Each case defies scientific understanding.

Forced to work together, the pair fall into an absurd routine as they solve cases: she tracks down criminals using fingerprints and DNA, while he investigates through physiognomy and feng shui; she uses her gun to subdue enemies, while he uses talismans to suppress ghosts. "Officer Su, your forehead looks dark. You're in for a bloody disaster today!" "Chen Mo, keep spreading superstition and I'll arrest you!"

Then Chen Mo coughs up blood as he draws a forbidden talisman to extend her life, and Su Liang's scientific worldview begins to crack. Neither of them knows that Chen Mo's vendetta for his murdered family and the disappearance of Su Liang's father are already tightly ensnared in the shadow of the Netherworld Path.

This is a high-stakes gamble with their lifespans on the line, and the ultimate clash between science and the supernatural. With fate closing in, can they fight their way to a path of survival for the living?
