That Demon from the Other Sect Keeps Forcing Me to Drink Tonics

I'm in the Demon Cult, and I've been kidnapped for three days. Word on the martial world is that I'm the righteous sects' foremost sickly beauty, while my nemesis, Demon Cult Leader Yan Jiuli, is a living King of Hell who kills without batting an eye. The day he took me, everyone in my sect cried their eyes out. They're probably already deciding what font to use on my tombstone. I thought I wouldn't make it through the night either. But Yan Jiuli tossed me onto the softest bed in the entire Demon Cult, then brought over a bowl of pitch-black medicine and said expressionlessly, “Heartbreak poison. Drink it.” I took a sniff. Good heavens, snow lotus from the Tianshan Mountains, thousand-year-old fleeceflower root… Each ingredient was expensive enough to buy half our mountain. And he called that heartbreak poison? I understood at once. I gave a couple of weak coughs and turned my head away. “Kill me or dismember me, do as you please. But I cannot take this mysterious poison.” Then I watched the demon lord, rumored to be able to silence a crying toddler, freeze in place without a word. After a long pause, he silently scooped up a spoonful of medicine, blew on it, and brought it to my lips. His voice even sounded a little… aggrieved. “…I added sugar. It isn't bitter.” Me: “?” Help, I suspect this demon lord isn't quite right in the head, and that he has a crush on me. Now I'm being “forced” to drink outrageously expensive tonic while remotely directing things, and leaving the elders in my sect who can't wait for me to die with nothing but their underwear.
