The Seven-Star Mystery Cases of the Three Kingdoms

Synopsis of The Seven Stars' Strange Case Files

The smoke of war at Red Cliff has yet to clear, but an even more sinister shadow has already fallen over the Three Kingdoms.

The Seven Stars join forces, but not to vie for supremacy. Chen Ming, a good-for-nothing young clan heir with twin eyes that see through illusions, is forced to assemble an eccentric team: Zhang Yan, a hot-tempered Celestial Master who can summon thunder; Sima Jing, a sharp-tongued physician who can speak with the dead; Zhuge Qing, a scheming formation master whose compass can trap armies; Wang Hanshan, a simple-minded bruiser who can smash city walls with one punch; and Sun Wei and Liu Yuan, two informants whose origins are shrouded in mystery.

Their first stop is Feng County, a town of just three hundred people, where music and dancing fill the streets. Why do three thousand soul-summoning lanterns rise into the sky in the dead of night? Why is the skinless corpse in the county yamen's cellar smiling? Are the streaks beneath the City God judge's statue's eyes tears of blood, or some kind of signal?

When Zhang Yan's thunderfire rebounds off a bronze gate and strikes him, and Zhuge Qing's talisman formation spontaneously bursts into flames, they realize they've stumbled into a deadly game spanning two hundred years. Every minor case points to a deeper conspiracy; behind every laugh lurks a poisoned dagger.

Watch these seven misfits, outsiders to the world, solve the deadliest mysteries with the most irreverent attitude. Hilarity and suspense soar side by side, while passion and the uncanny blend together. This is more than solving cases: it's a journey against fate that will overturn the Three Realms.

In the final years of Jian'an, the realm is divided into three, and heroes vie for supremacy. Yet a sinister undercurrent swirls through the martial world: a thousand-year-old corpse sings in the dead of night, eight gifted students from Shuijing Manor disappear one after another, and ghosts roam beneath the Bronze Sparrow Terrace in Xuchang...

The Seven Stars Wandering Dragon, a group unaffiliated with the court or any faction, specializes in dealing with anyone who refuses to yield, and with all things uncanny. Its leader is Zhao Yun
