The Great Desolation's Taxation Venerable

Synopsis of The Primordial Heavenly Tax Venerable

When Pangu split the heavens and earth, his primordial spirit became the Three Pure Ones, his essence and blood gave birth to the Ancestral Witches, and his boundless Pangu qi transformed into an unremarkable Daoist known as Yiqi. As all living beings in the Primordial World struggled to survive the Calamities and fought over fortune, Yiqi quietly inherited an unconventional mission from Pangu: overseeing the Heavenly Dao's tax affairs.

During the Dragon-Han Calamity, he stayed hidden in his cave, working out tax laws. As the Witches and Demons contended for supremacy, he coldly recorded each side's “business income.” At last, when the Dao Ancestor Hongjun began preaching in the Purple Heaven Palace and countless people gathered to pay homage, Yiqi appeared for the first time, tax decree in hand.

“Fellow Daoist, you haven't paid the land tax on your Purple Heaven Palace, and you've failed to report your preaching income for income tax.”

Hongjun crushed his cushion. “Who exactly are you?”

“The Primordial Heavenly Tax Venerable, personally appointed by Pangu.”

When the first Sage of the Primordial World is forced to pay his taxes, and even the workings of the Heavenly Dao must pay a management fee…

An unconventional epic of the Primordial World, where abacuses challenge divine powers and tax bills bring balance to the Heavenly Dao, begins.
