After transmigrating into the city, he spent years trying to survive. He wanted to change something, anything, but it seemed there was nothing he could do. He struggled on, like someone drowning in water. The cause and effect that had been established could not be changed. I wanted to change everything, and with the System’s help, he sought the Way. The wish in his heart awakened as a divine ability over causality. After awakening, he discovered that the world constrained him even more. He had already witnessed how the future would change. Until he met Jia Qiu. Jia Qiu wanted to understand benevolence and righteousness. The protagonist’s moral outlook intrigued him, but after studying it, he discovered how numb the other man was. He decided to knock some sense into him. (That’s all for the synopsis for now. I’m not good at writing blurbs, so please give the story a try, dear readers.) Since there’s a System, other power systems will appear later as well. Some plot holes come from writing the early chapters too soon, before I had worked out the setting in sufficient detail.
