Echoes of Cangyuan: The Mecha Awakening Chronicles

Ling, a wasteland scavenger, finds half of a core chip in a rusted mech graveyard. When she slots it into the scrap-built "Junk King," it unexpectedly awakens the ancient mech Cangyuan, dormant for a hundred years. As blood-red patterns spread across its frame, she discovers that this abandoned weapon of war holds a fragment of the consciousness of Kai, the missing interstellar marshal. Vera, the mechanic at the repair shop next door, is always laughing at Ling for collecting scrap like building blocks. But when black-market mech hunters come after her, Vera whips out a homemade pulse cannon and declares, "If this hunk of junk can fly, I'll livestream myself chewing on a wrench!" Then, as Cangyuan unfurls its shimmering blade-wings amid a meteor shower, Ling catches sight of the marshal's insignia beneath one hunter's helmet. It belonged to Kai's personal guard, the very last unit he led before disappearing. From scavenger girl to pilot of a legendary mech, Ling presses on through gears and sparks. She has no idea that every roar from Cangyuan is awakening interstellar secrets buried by time, and the memory fragments embedded in its core are drawing her into a fateful war spanning light-years.
