Cultivating Immortality: I Just Want to Sleep

My name is Qin Xuanji, and I’m the sect’s famous good-for-nothing. My daily job is guarding the unwanted book pavilion. Then one day, Li Tuoji and Li Ruote, the two most dazzling brothers of Tianyan Sect, show up at my door at the same time. The elder brother coolly tosses down a marriage contract: “It was our late father’s dying wish that I marry you.” The younger brother courteously hands me a manual: “Sister-in-law, please take a look at this dual cultivation technique.” I quietly pull out the Cultivation Method for Becoming Invincible Just by Sleeping that I’ve just mastered. Later, at the immortal sect competition, I start snoring in front of everyone. Li Tuoji sweeps the arena clean with one sword: “My wife is sleeping. No disturbances.” Li Ruote smiles as he releases a cloud of poison: “Now that you’re awake, let’s silence everyone who saw my brother catch a bad case of lovesickness.”
