Heaven's Mandate Auditor, Here to Collect from You

After working overtime nonstop to fix a vulnerability in the financial system, programmer Wang Shuo drops dead at his desk. When he opens his eyes again, he finds himself neither in heaven nor in hell. Instead, he's been recruited directly by Heaven's HR department. [Position: Three Realms Financial System, Junior Administrator] [Duties: Audit the accounts of the Three Realms and collect unlawful debts] [Salary: Heavenly merit] Looking at the Three Realms' battered account books, Wang Shuo sees chaos everywhere: errors in the Matchmaker's red-thread accounts have thrown marriages into disarray; the underworld's reincarnation system has a queue stretching ten thousand years; Heaven's merit-based salaries are being skimmed at every level; and the gods have all given up... Wang Shuo falls silent. What kind of mythological world is this? It's a legacy pile of spaghetti code, riddled with bugs and on the verge of collapse! Fortunately, his golden finger is “data visualization.” A deity's cultivation? A number. A magical treasure's power? A parameter. Karma and fate? Traceable data streams! From then on, the Three Realms undergoes a dramatic transformation. While the Thunder God and Lightning Goddess are still drawing unearned salaries by outsourcing their lightning quota, Wang Shuo's [Mandatory Enforcement] freezes their immortal credentials outright. When the God of Wealth tries to overwhelm the system with mountains of gold and silver, Wang Shuo counters with the [Three Realms Merit Treasury], draining all of his liquid assets. Faced with the tangled karmic debts of ancient powers, Wang Shuo launches the [Karmic Accounting Platform], calculates compound interest on the spot, and enforces payment! Wang Shuo: “Whether you're one of the gods across heaven or an ancient Golden Immortal, if your accounts don't add up, my audit report can bankrupt you.” This is the story of a programmer who uses code and Excel to restore financial order to the Three Realms, ultimately becoming the “strongest auditor” with authority over the laws of karma.
