Echoes in the Mist: A Contract Romance with My Archenemy

After the heroine loses her memory, her personality should contrast with who she was before. For example, she might have been domineering and aloof before, but become soft and dependent afterward. That makes the hero’s change in attitude feel more natural. Before her memory loss, he and the heroine were constantly at odds. As he “plays” her partner after she loses her memory, he gradually discovers another side of her, shifting from rejection to falling for her.
