After the Campus Heartthrob Cheated, I Married the Young Master

1. Female lead: Su Wan, a young woman from the south and a talented Chinese literature student at A University. At first, she is gentle and sensitive, full of hope for love. After her campus heartthrob boyfriend cheats on her, she hits rock bottom. Later, she comes into her own in marriage and grows into an independent, clear-eyed professional woman, eventually taking a planning job at a publishing company. Beneath her gentle exterior is a core of resilience.

2. Male lead: Lu Shiyan, heir to the elite Lu Group, known as the “young master.” He appears aloof and restrained, acts decisively, and struggles to express his feelings. In truth, he is highly perceptive, and gradually reveals his tender side in marriage, coming to cherish Su Wan deeply rather than seeing her as a mere “contractual responsibility.”

3. Former male lead, the campus heartthrob: Lin Ze, a handsome, sunny finance student at A University who knows how to create romantic moments. In reality, he is selfish and vain. Hoping to gain access to a higher social circle, he flirts with and cheats on Su Wan with a rich girl. Later, he tries to win Su Wan back, but repeatedly hits a wall.

4. Female rival, the other woman: Xia Mengyao, an art student from a wealthy family. Arrogant and attention-seeking, she approaches Lin Ze out of jealousy over the campus golden couple reputation he and Su Wan have. Later, she realizes Lin Ze doesn’t truly care for her, and the two fall out.
