The Battle of Deep and Rose

Lin Wei joins the company where Gu Shen works, but he rejects her first project as “too idealistic.” Unwilling to give up, Lin Wei stays up all night revising her proposal and even visits the client’s brick-and-mortar store to do research. In the end, Gu Shen approves it. While working together on a beauty brand promotion, they face malicious sabotage from a competitor, who leaks their proposal and poaches key team members. Gu Shen leads Lin Wei in responding calmly, while Lin Wei turns the situation around with ideas that resonate with consumers. As they work together, Lin Wei sees the guidance behind Gu Shen’s strictness, and Gu Shen comes to admire her resilience. After the project succeeds, Gu Shen confesses his feelings to Lin Wei at the celebration banquet. The two go from being colleagues at different levels to workplace partners, working together to help the company grow.
