Synopsis

[Apocalyptic Wasteland + Game Descends + Cards + No Female Lead + Comedy] “You say the King of Hell wants you dead by the third watch?” “No problem. Come find me, and I’ll send you on your way by the second watch. No need to thank me. I’m a good person.” The apocalypse arrives, turning the world into a wasteland. Everyone gets a System, and professions and lifespan become the only currency. Enter trials through portals, and you can gain everything you desire. Bai Wuchang wields a Fate Modifier, a top-tier red card. With every advantage in hand, he becomes the dreaded “Fate Player.” “Take out the prophet first in the apocalypse?” Sorry, he’s already dead. If you run into him, you should count yourself lucky! “That's so underhanded! How are we supposed to play if they don't nerf him?” He may not be human, but “Who else wants to defy fate? Come on in!” Come to think of it, he really is a good person.

The Protagonists in Apocalypse Novels Never Seem Ruthless Enough

Looking for books like *The Game Descends: I Want This, This, and This*. It's so good! A lone-wolf female powerhouse. I've reread it three times. It's the best book I've ever read.

Wasteland, Apocalypse, Superpowers, and a Satisfying Protagonist

Not just ordinary zombies. No Systems, survival plots, or stockpiling supplies either. I remember reading a few books like that over and over already.
