The Wasteland Apocalypse Is Here: I Survive with a House Selection System

After finally escaping the misery of high school, Shen Zhaorao looked forward to her first college vacation. But then a strange earthquake struck. There was no warning, and earthquakes hit all over the world at the same time. Not even regions where major quakes were extremely rare were spared. The moment she was rescued, she went looking for her family, but found only her six-year-old sister. Before she could recover from her grief, Shen Zhaorao was hit by another unrelenting disaster: torrential rain. She had no food, no money, and not even a place to stay, only her little sister, who had no one else. An unexpected crisis led her to acquire a System, a home-selection System. After the rain came freezing temperatures, then scorching heat... Her childhood sweetheart also found her. As one natural disaster after another struck, Shen Zhaorao discovered one day that a new kind of monster had appeared in the world, one commonly found in novels: zombies.

Content warning: The heroine is not perfect, so please don't be too hard on her. This is a little story about an ordinary, yet not so ordinary, girl struggling to survive the apocalypse with her little sister. There is a male lead. This is neither a story about an all-powerful heroine nor one about a helpless wife, just an ordinary romance. Both leads are each other's first and only love. If it's not your cup of tea, please leave quietly. Let's keep things pleasant for everyone, thank you!
