Reborn in 1983: The Xing'an Mountains Hunter and His Eight Daughters

In 2025, Yang Zhenzhuang, a forest ranger in the Greater Khingan Mountains, freezes to death in the woods and returns to 1983.

In his previous life, he was a complete bastard. Desperate for a son, he drove his virtuous wife to her death, leaving his eight daughters destitute and broken. In the end, the nephew he'd adopted took everything he owned and left him to die alone.

When he opens his eyes again, he's back on the snowy night that changed his fate. His eighth daughter has just been born, and his parents and older siblings are pressuring him to adopt his nephew so the boy can inherit everything!

Yang Zhenzhuang's eyes turn bloodshot. He explodes!

“Adopt him? In your dreams! I'm the one who's going to spoil my daughters!”

From then on, the Greater Khingan Mountains have a hunter who's both a devoted husband and a doting dad.

A slingshot from the start, a woodcutter's knife to clear the way, traps to catch hundred-jin wild boars, and icy holes to fish out golden softshell turtles and eels! One sable pelt gets him a hunting rifle. One gunshot, and a path to riches opens up!

He renames his daughters Ruolan and Ruomei, sends them to school, and spoils each of them rotten!

When his biased parents and vicious siblings come knocking again, they're met by the icy barrel of a hunting rifle and Yang Zhenzhuang's even colder gaze:

“The old me is dead. The man I am now is someone you can't afford to mess with!”

Watch as this reborn hunter uses his iron fists and hunting rifle to protect his wife and daughters in the Northeast of the 1980s, lead his whole family to rise above their circumstances, and trample every enemy beneath his feet!
