I'm About to Ascend, So Why Is the System Making Me a Lazy Villain?

[Invincible protagonist + villain + subverting tropes + golden finger + lighthearted] After transmigrating into a fantasy world, Ye Zechuan reached the Deification Realm in just a hundred years. He was ready to enjoy an invincible life when the late-arriving [Laid-Back Villain System] forcibly bound itself to him. The System insists he's only at the Golden Core stage, a lazy villain. Ye Zechuan looks at the mission reward of 100 low-grade spirit stones, then weighs the supreme-grade sacred artifact he uses as a toy in his hand, and falls silent. To earn rewards and lie flat his way to ascension, he diligently plays the part of a brainless villain. He completes one ridiculous mission after another. He humiliates a male protagonist whose engagement was broken off, but accidentally helps him rise to power. He abducts a reborn female emperor, only to be mistaken for an unfathomably powerful guardian. He bullies a divine healer, then casually reveals a lost pill recipe with a few words of advice. The pills he tosses aside are hailed as peerless divine elixirs. His offhand guidance turns people into grandmasters. When all the protagonists he's "bullied" are overflowing with gratitude and vowing to follow him to the death, Ye Zechuan completely breaks down: "I just wanted to be a laid-back villain. How did I become everyone's golden finger?!" The System clutches its head and wails, "Host, just keep up the good work. At this rate, even the Heavenly Dao will give you a commendation pennant. I might even win System Employee of the Year."
