Synopsis

After the victory in the War of Resistance in 1945, Kuomintang General Wu Shi witnessed the authorities' corruption and the people's displacement, and became utterly disillusioned with the "Party-State." Guided by a close friend, he secretly made contact with our Party and joined the Communist Party of China in 1947. Using his senior post in the Ministry of National Defense as cover, he became an underground agent with the codename "Secret Envoy No. 1."

He risked his life to pass along vital intelligence on the Huaihai Campaign, Fuzhou's city defenses, and other matters. He cleverly kept 298 boxes of top-secret military files in Fuzhou and delivered them to the Liberation Army. In 1949, he volunteered to go undercover in Taiwan, working in perfect coordination with courier Zhu Feng to send out core intelligence on Taiwan's defenses. But his identity was exposed when the traitor Cai Xiaoqian defected.

In the face of torture and threats, the martyrs Wu Shi, Zhu Feng, and others remained steadfast. In 1950, they were executed heroically at Machangting in Taipei. Years later, they were posthumously recognized as revolutionary martyrs, and their loyal spirits returned home. Their story crossed the Taiwan Strait, becoming an enduring monument to the covert front and revealing the eternal power of faith and devotion to one's country and people.

Cultivation Stories Where Both Leads Are Cautious to a Fault

Traditional cultivation is fine. Both leads should be cautious and goofy. A mortal's cultivation journey would be good too.

Wu Shi, his wife Wang Bikui, Zhu Feng, Chen Baobao and other comrades in "Silent Glory" have firm beliefs, fearless spirit and innocent heart. Serve silently on the hidden front, stick to your original aspiration in dangerous situations, and create glory with silent sacrifice. Tribute to: the silent and dedicated warriors on the hidden front in the revolutionary era! In contrast, Cai Xiaoqian, a former revolutionary, betrayed the revolution and betrayed the organization for his own selfish desires. Pushing Taiwan's party organization into the abyss is truly heinous and heinous!

I have seen the deeds of General Wu Shi and martyr Zhu Feng, and also watched the TV series "Silent Glory". The author described the life experience of General Wu Shi in a more realistic and concrete way in the original story, making people more aware of General Wu Shi's integrity and strong character, and more admiring him and the unyielding loyalty of the revolutionary martyrs on the hidden front. History will never forget it, and our descendants must not forget the happy life that our ancestors bought for us with their lives and blood. Pay tribute to the revolutionary martyrs!

After watching the TV series and then reading this book, I learned more about Wu Shi. Wu Shi's righteousness is admirable. He sincerely thanks the revolutionary martyrs for the prosperity of the motherland that they sacrificed their lives for, and cherishes the happy life now even more. The revolutionary martyrs will live forever!!
