The King of Hell Docked My Bonus, So I Laugh My Way Through Ghost Hunting

[Hilarious + Horror + Misunderstanding Comedy + Overpowered] After office drone Zhang San dies, he gets scammed by the King of Hell! His performance review comes up short, so he’s forcibly shoved into the world of Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio as a “temporary ghost catcher.” His KPI? Capture 999 evil ghosts and vengeful spirits!

Armed with nothing but a broken peachwood sword from the start, he has to bluff his way through every mission. Two Painted Skin sisters start fighting over a face mask? He’ll sort it out! A fox spirit madam insists on making him her secretary? Politely declined! The Black Mountain Demon is running a P2P Ponzi scheme that’s blown up in his face? He’ll hit it with a warding spell of “Core Socialist Values”!

While everyone else catches ghosts with ease, Zhang San’s ghost-hunting exploits are a complete disaster. He’s either courting death or on his way to do so. He thought he was just stuck in a crazy grind, but he accidentally gets caught up in a huge conspiracy that could overturn the Three Realms…

Wait! Weren’t these supposed to be funny everyday adventures? How did they get so genuinely twisted? Lord of Hell, you’d better pay me overtime for this!
