Seeking Immortal Bones in the Mortal Realm

Chen Mo was once the Azure Nether Sword Venerable, a formidable figure in the world of cultivation. Now his soul has fallen into the mortal realm, where he has become Chen Ziyu, the lowliest illegitimate son of the Northern Marquis's household in the Great Yan Dynasty.

In his previous life, he cleaved through the highest heavens with his sword, only to be betrayed by his cultivation partner and junior brother. As his body and spirit perished, a fragment of his soul was escorted to the mortal realm by his life-bound immortal sword. His new body is born with an “Absolute Spirit Physique,” incapable of absorbing spiritual energy, and his family considers him worthless. They take away his betrothal, then, during the Marquis's household tournament, his legitimate elder brother frames him, breaks all four of his limbs, and throws him into a mass grave. As he lies near death, even the last mouthful of coarse rice is fought over by wild dogs.

At the brink of death, the “Azure Nether Sword Soul” hidden within Chen Mo's remnant soul suddenly awakens, tempering his Absolute Spirit Physique into the beginnings of an innate “Immortal Bone”! Withered bones shine in the mass grave, and the sword soul shatters the heart meridians of the elder brother who framed him. Everyone in the Marquis's household who once looked down on him falls to their knees, trembling.

“When I, Chen Mo, stood at the top, you were nothing but dust. On the day I, Chen Ziyu, was reborn, I shall seek immortal bones in the mortal realm and ascend once more to the Ninth Heaven!”

So what if they call him worthless? Watch as he tempers immortal bones with his sword soul, seizes opportunities in the mortal realm to comprehend the Great Dao, and fights his way out of the mass grave. He will smash through the barriers of the Marquis's household, sweep across the cultivation world of the dynasty, and finally uncover the ancient secret behind the Immortal Bone, making the name of the Azure Nether Sword Venerable resound once more through the Three Realms!
