Demonflame Burns the Nine Heavens

A millennium ago, the ancient Demon Lord Fentian commanded the Netherworld Demon Flame and swept away evil across the Three Realms. But his closest friend and cultivation partner betrayed him together, and his soul perished on the Altar of the Ninth Heaven. His demon flame and life-bound demon core were sealed in the Secret Realm of the Nine Netherworlds. A millennium later, Chu Yan of Canglan City, a good-for-nothing youth mocked by his family for having severed meridians, ventures into the secret realm in search of medicine to save his mother. There, he accidentally awakens a fragment of Fentian’s soul and is marked by the Netherworld Demon Flame, awakening the power of the ancient demon flame.

Chu Yan can barely cast even the most basic spells. His mother lies gravely wounded and unconscious, and his cousin Chu Hao has stolen the family’s ancestral demon-flame manual. He suffers constant bullying from his relatives. But when Fentian’s remnant soul merges with his body, the demon flame begins tempering his meridians, and everything changes completely!

He starts over with the Demon Scripture of Burning Heaven. The ghostly violet flame gathering at his fingertips is both a blade that shatters mockery and a stairway to the peak. He makes a stunning impression in the family trials, claims a fortune of his own in the secret realm, and rises so quickly that all of Canglan City trembles.

But the enemies who betrayed Fentian have already laid a vast net. Sensing the demon flame, they seek to seize it and the demon core so they can rule the Three Realms. This time, Fentian, in Chu Yan’s body, will make every enemy pay in blood, rekindle the Demon Lord’s glory, and make the Ninth Heaven hear the roar of the demon flame once more!
