The Mystic Sect Ancestor in the Modern World

Zhang Sanfeng, a grandmaster of his age, attempted to attain immortality atop Mount Emei, only to face the most terrifying tribulation in history. His body was destroyed, leaving only a wisp of his soul to eke out an existence in a place of extreme yin for six hundred years.

When he awoke, however, he had possessed the body of a modern young man who had fallen off a cliff. From then on, the venerable soul of a martial arts patriarch collided violently with the noisy, restless world of modern civilization, giving rise to a string of hilarious "incidents."

But the end of the jokes marked the beginning of a legend. While people whispered about his "old-fashioned" ways, he shook the literary world with his peerless calligraphy, brought the dead back to life with his unparalleled medical skills, and crushed so-called ancient martial arts prodigies with invincible might!

Yet within this young body still beat the sincere heart of one who sought the Dao and immortality. This time, he would not only prove the supreme Dao anew for himself, but also reopen the Heavenly Gate for this world and everything he had protected amid the mortal realm!
