Dragon Blood Tempers the Sword Heart

Ten thousand years ago, the ancient dragon knight Ao Xuan guarded the secret realm of the Dragon Clan with the Dragon-Slaying Sacred Sword in hand. But his closest friend and a traitor to the Dragon Clan joined forces to betray him. He died fighting in Dragonfall Gorge, and both his dragon blood and sacred sword were sealed deep within the secret realm. Ten thousand years later, in Qinglan City, Long Chen, a good-for-nothing mocked by his clan after his sword meridians withered, enters the secret realm in search of medicine to save his father. There, he unexpectedly awakens Ao Xuan's remnant soul and is bathed in dragon blood, awakening the power of ancient dragon blood.

At this point, Long Chen can barely manage even the most basic sword techniques. His father lies unconscious with grave injuries, and his cousin Long Chen has stolen the sword manual passed down through his family. He is bullied at every turn. But when Ao Xuan's remnant soul merges with his body and the dragon blood begins tempering his sword heart, everything changes completely!

He cultivates the Dragon Blood Sword Canon anew. The golden dragon-flame sword energy gathering at his fingertips is both a blade that shatters ridicule and a stepping stone on his path to the peak. He astonishes everyone in the family trials and claims a rare opportunity in the secret realm. Long Chen (Ao Xuan) rises so quickly that all of Qinglan City trembles.

But the descendants of the traitors have already laid a vast, inescapable net. Sensing the dragon-blood aura, they seek to seize the dragon blood and sacred sword so they can rule the continent. This time, in Long Chen's body, Ao Xuan will make every enemy pay for their blood debts and restore the glory of the dragon knights, until the continent once again hears the roar of dragons and the ring of swords!
