Heavenly Court Was Destroyed, So I Inherited an Immortal Title and Recruited Mortals

The great calamity of antiquity destroyed Heaven and brought the gods down with it. As the only security guard to survive at the Southern Heavenly Gate, Xi Fan unexpectedly inherits the Investiture of the Gods and the God-Beating Whip, becoming the only legally recognized immortal left in the Three Realms. Faced with an empty celestial court and an incense offering supply in dire need of believers, he makes a decision that would defy his ancestors: recruit a batch of gods from the spiritless Blue Star just to fill the vacancies!

And so, the New Heavenly Court is born:

Director Wang from the neighborhood office doubles as the local Earth God, responsible for district KPI assessments.

Top lawyer Zhang San takes charge of the Thunder Department, reviewing the legality of “divine punishment.”

The founder of Pinduoduo becomes the God of Wealth, overseeing the “chop once, earn merit” business.

Watching the new gods give work presentations in PowerPoint and squabble over “GDP per god,” Xi Fan can only say: These gods are a handful to manage!
