The Final Ultimatum at the Snow Mountain Cabin

Shen Yan and Lu Zhao reunite in a mountain cabin cut off by a blizzard.

Shen Yan, a former criminal investigator, has come to look into a disappearance. The mysterious visitor Lu Zhao arrives with the same destination in mind. The moment the wooden door shuts, an avalanche roars outside, severing the only road down the mountain. The cabin becomes a prison, cut off from the world.

Late that night, the wealthy businessman staying with them is found dead in a locked room, with half of a symbol-carved wooden plaque embedded in his chest. A second body soon appears, and the matching half of the plaque is discovered in Lu Zhao’s luggage. Suspicion spreads like a plague. Everyone has a secret, and faint footprints in the blizzard point to an even stranger truth.

When a note reading “At midnight, the last person will be revealed” is pinned to the door, Shen Yan finally realizes that this trap was set in motion ten years ago. They are both hunters pursuing a killer and prey in the killer’s sights.
