Selling Memories in the Depths of Cat Alley

In the future city of Xinhai, where memories can be extracted, stored, and traded, Lu Chen is an elite memory archivist who has forgotten his own past. A request from a mysterious woman, Ling Shuang, draws him into deep waters: he must extract an encrypted final moment from a corpse. As he plunges into the shattered depths of the dead person’s memories, he unexpectedly dredges up echoes of his own: a lighthouse, the sound of the tide, and a pain that pierces his soul. This is no longer just a job, but a dangerous search for himself. Every fragment of memory could be a key to the truth, or a whirlpool that swallows him whole.
