An Old Soul Once Lived in This Rental

In a future city of neon and rain, Lu Zhou makes a living diving into other people’s memories as a memory curator. Yet he cannot piece together his own past. When a mysterious woman named Ling Shuang appears, plagued by shattered nightmares, he takes on what seems to be an ordinary commission. But as he dives into the depths of her memories, filled with fire and cries of anguish, a familiar lullaby and a blurry silhouette strike a dangerous chord with his own blank past. This is more than a memory-repair job: it’s a perilous journey toward the truth. On the island of memories, every echo could swallow him whole.
