The Fox Immortal's Borrowed Brush

In a futuristic city where memories can be extracted, preserved, and traded, Lu Chen is a top memory appraiser, yet he has no past of his own. He can precisely analyze every trace of emotion in other people’s memories, but cannot read the blank spaces in his own. A mysterious commission brings him a shattered memory amber containing the sound of waves and a piano. The client, Su Qing, insists it belonged to her missing older brother, but when Lu Chen touches it, the world he has forgotten begins to tremble violently. Together, Lu Chen and Su Qing venture into the gray zone of memory in search of the truth, only to discover that he is heading toward a vast vortex capable of overturning the entire memory industry, and perhaps even his own existence. What he has lost may be more than his past: it may be the truth of the whole world.
