No Survivors in the Old Case Files

On a remote island cut off from the world, memories can be precisely extracted and sealed away. Ling Chen, an archivist of memories, spends his days processing other people’s pain and joy, utterly unaware of the blankness in his own past. Then one day, a fragment of memory that belongs to no client unexpectedly enters his System: a lullaby and the indistinct silhouette of a woman. It casts a boulder into his frozen heart. Secretly searching for the truth, he crosses paths with An Ya, a woman who came to forget her trauma yet possesses an unusually keen mind. As the island’s sealed archives are gradually opened, he discovers that its foundations were built from countless stolen fragments of people’s lives. And he himself is both their keeper and the prisoner locked in their deepest vault.
