Blade Against the Light: Deadly Sparks

The Blade Against the Light follows Lu Zheng, a former Dragon Fang special forces soldier who accidentally obtains evidence of a spy operation. Framed for elimination by the international spy organization Shadow, he goes overnight from elite security operative to a nationally wanted fugitive. Forced to flee, he gathers his retired comrades, including demolitions expert Zhao Meng, hacker Lin Jing, and scout Chen Mo, forming the Reverse Scale Squad to launch a desperate counterattack.

As the squad pursues the truth through one peril after another, they gradually uncover Shadow’s shocking plot to steal the Spark energy technology. From the mountains of corpses at the Emerald Manor to the deadly trap at an international summit, from a pursuit inside the body by nanorobots to the final showdown aboard a cargo ship at the docks, Lu Zheng relies on his exceptional combat skills and the team’s close coordination to break through one deadly trap after another, even with a lethal device implanted in his body and powerful enemies closing in from all sides.

When they discover that the mastermind is colluding with a mole at the highest levels, and that the conspiracy is even tied to the truth behind Lin Jing’s sister’s “accidental” death, this battle between good and evil escalates into a fight to the death to protect the nation’s technological lifeline. Every step closer to the truth brings even more brutal betrayal and sacrifice. The Reverse Scale Squad presses on through fire and darkness, proving with their own blood and bodies: A dragon has scales that must never be touched, or it will unleash its fury!
