Plotting the Immortal Path to Prove Eternal Life

In a world where the Heavenly Dao has been tampered with and the ranks of cultivation are rigidly fixed, Gu Changye, young master of the supreme immortal clan, the Celestial Gu Clan, was born to be the “Dao Child,” destined by his family to be sacrificed to the false Heavenly Dao in exchange for the clan's fortune. To protect himself, he disguises himself as a sickly, useless wastrel. In secret, however, he turns Heaven and Earth into a chessboard and all living beings into pieces, cultivating a forbidden art of strategy that sees through all laws and lays bare the cause and effect behind everything.
