Twin Souls Pact: A Millennium Search for Souls Along the Return Line

Twin Pact: A Thousand-Year Search for Souls on the Return Line

Su Yan, a modern young woman, never imagined that the jade pendant engraved with twin herbs on her chest was a key spanning a thousand years. An accident draws her into the mysterious Realm of Guimo, where twin herbs can send messages, sand fiends can devour souls, and her identity as a twin symbiote makes her the only hope of protecting this land.

Even more devastating, hidden within the Realm of Guimo is the obsession she has pursued for a thousand years: her twin sister Lingxi, whose soul was sealed inside a twin herb after she was killed by a traitor. And Yeliao, the beast-speaker before her, who still wields a blade despite his severed hand to protect her, is actually a descendant of the wolf clan who made a pact to protect her thousands of years ago in exchange for saving her people.

The remnants of the sand fiends are stirring, the Twin Well’s energy is dwindling, and the passage between the modern world and the Realm of Guimo is about to collapse. Su Yan must overcome her fear of “losing someone again” while fighting alongside Yeliao, awakening the power of the Twin Heart with her blood.

In the desert, as they search for the herb, Yeliao lets the sand fiend’s poison ravage him rather than let her come to harm. At the bottom of a spring, Lingxi sends a message through her soul and takes a deadly trap meant for Su Yan. In the final battle, her sister sacrifices herself, merging with the twin herb and using her soul as a guide to seal the source of the sand fiends.

From a bitter parting during an escape a thousand years ago to laughter in a modern milk tea shop; from their first meeting beside the Twin Well to protecting each other across time with the aid of their symbiotic mark. This bond spanning a thousand years brings heartrending protection amid flashing blades, tearful reunions between sisters, and a perfect ending built on twin souls who choose each other in both directions.

When the twin herb blooms again, they will continue their legend of never parting in the twilight of both worlds.
