Synopsis:

[Feel-good period drama + tough veteran + capitalist heiress + husband and wife building a business together + one heroine]

Zhou Wu, a war hero who shed blood on the battlefield to defend his country, returns home after leaving the army, only to be publicly dumped by his fiancée in front of the entire village!

She has climbed to a higher branch and thinks a “grunt” with an old shoulder injury has no future!

Heartbroken, he heads up the mountain late at night, where he unexpectedly rescues a beautiful young woman who is badly injured and whose origins are unknown.

When she wakes, despair and determination fill her lovely eyes.

“My name is Lin Ruoxue. I’ve been framed as an enemy spy, and people are hunting me down.”

“I know I’ve brought you enormous trouble, but right now, you’re the only one who can save me.”

“Will you… dare to marry me?”

“Marry me, and I’ll help you get even! I’ll make sure you live better than anyone else!”

Looking at the woman who had staked her life and everything she owned on him, Zhou Wu recalled the humiliation of the day before. The fighting spirit he had suppressed for so long burst forth!

Marry her? Why wouldn’t he dare!

From then on, one forged weapons for the nation, while the other devised strategies behind the scenes.

Together, they would shape the tumultuous seventies and build a business empire of their own!
