Break the Seal and Claim the Title of Heavenly Emperor

Ling Chen, a menial disciple of the Qingyun Sect, was born with a “Meridian-Locking Body” and regarded as a good-for-nothing at cultivation. His fiancée, Liu Qingxue, publicly breaks off their engagement, and he is framed for stealing the sect's treasured secret and thrown into the death row.

On the brink of death, he unexpectedly awakens the dormant “Ancient Chaos Seal” within him and unlocks the heaven-defying art, the Seal-Breaking Formula. His locked meridians transform into Chaos Meridians that unite all laws, allowing him to stand against Qi-Gathering cultivators while still at the Body Tempering stage.

Ye Qingyu, meanwhile, was a genius of the Ye family. But because he bears the “Heavenly Emperor Seal,” the sect elders imprisoned him in the “Demon-Suppressing Tower,” tormenting his soul day and night to force him to surrender the seal.

One cultivates on spoiled food in the death row, turning humiliation into the motivation to break his seal. The other fights back in the tower, drenched in blood, using the remnants of the Heavenly Emperor Seal to protect the legacy.

When Ling Chen fights his way out of the death row with the Chaos Seal and Ye Qingyu breaks out of the tower, the two seals resonate and shake the heavens and earth. Only then do they learn that the Chaos Seal and the Heavenly Emperor Seal were once one. They must join forces to break the seals, uncover the truth behind the ancient Heavenly Emperor's fall, overthrow the false immortals, and ultimately become emperors of their age!

“I will break the shackles of heaven and earth! I will claim the throne of the emperor over all living beings!”
