Yun Xi: The Corpse Whisperer and the Fugitive

Yun Xi was born with the ability to awaken monster corpses and make them fight, but the Daoist sect branded her a heretic and exiled her to the Pig Cave.

To strengthen her control, she risked awakening the corpse of an ancient white wild boar, only for it to turn on her and run amok.

The white boar rampaged through the cave, drawing the top guild, the Heavenly Dipper Alliance, down on it. The Pig Cave collapsed.

At death’s door, she was rescued by Chen Sha, a wanted mage. “Work with me, or wait here to die?”

As they fled, Chen Sha blasted open a path through the rock with thunder magic. Yun Xi awakened a horde of corpses, but blood seeped from all seven of her orifices.

In an underground river, the resentment of a water zombie invaded Yun Xi’s mind for the first time. “Kill... kill them all...”

The Heavenly Dipper Alliance’s pursuers cut them off in speedboats, and Chen Sha was gravely wounded and swept into a whirlpool.

Desperate, Yun Xi awakened a multi-headed snake demon and unexpectedly took control of part of its mind. “Get him out of here!”

After escaping their pursuers, Chen Sha’s cold poison flared up, leaving his life hanging by a thread.

Yun Xi reopened her freshly healed wound and used her blood to awaken a healing worm. “Stay alive!”
