The Fog City Archives Casebook: The Fox Borrows the Tiger’s Might

“A friend of a friend said there's a place that deals with ‘that kind of thing’...” Jia Xu, a fox beastman and top graduate of the police academy, thought he would solve major cases and earn great merit. Instead, one bizarre hidden question on an exam landed him directly in the police department's most mysterious division: the Archives. The only people there are a panda director who spends all day studying stock charts on his computer screen and a tiger beastman older than him who inexplicably calls him “senior.” Jia Xu soon discovers that their job has nothing to do with sorting old papers. They deal with the “urban legends” whispered about on street corners and in the dark corners of the internet: strange events ignored by the regular police force and impossible to explain through common sense. They will venture into the hidden side of the city and uncover the truth and horror behind every story that “a friend of a friend told them.”
