The Spirit Pearl Breaks the Boundaries: Chronicles of the Ten Thousand Clans

Spirit Pearl: Chronicles of the Myriad Clans

The Primordial Spirit Pearl has been stolen, shattering the balance between the myriad clans. Miasma runs rampant in the Demon Realm, while war engulfs the Devil Realm. A group of “misfits” who should have been at each other’s throats are forced by fate to become teammates:

A Shura death god so cold he could freeze people to death is struck by a transmigrated woman who gets struck by lightning after criticizing a novel, and learns what it means to be at a loss for words for the first time.

A mad Imperial Preceptor who delights in killing picks up a little palace maid who keeps knocking over medicine jars, and turns into a fiercely protective fanatic.

A Poison Lady who tests her drugs on living people adopts a little puppy as her precious darling, and is also forced to take on a sour, bookish scholar as her advisor.

A clingy charmer born with an alluring physique chases after an aloof cultivator senior brother, only to find that her charms are no match for a simple “Senior Brother, are you hungry?”

From a fake-pearl trap in the Misty Forest to a conspiracy over inscriptions at the Heavenly Realm’s altar, they expose a traitor’s scheme to sow discord and foil a plot to frame them with poison, only to discover that the mastermind is none other than the Heavenly Emperor, who wears “peace” as a disguise! They also learn that the unassuming little palace maid is actually an ancient goddess who sealed away the Demon God.

During the decisive battle in the Divine Realm, the Netherworld Wolf latches onto the Illusion Fox, the Scarlet Flame Dragon chases the Seven-Colored Phoenix, the Azure Dragon protects the Spirit Butterfly, and the Spirit Crane keeps the Poison Scorpion company. Even their bonded spirit beasts have paired up. How can this bunch focus on fighting the Demon God?

“Hold on! My wolf has pulled all the fur off your fox!”

“Imperial Preceptor! Your dragon has burned the hem of my goddess’s dress again!”

From mutual loathing to sharing life and death, from the clans’ bitter divisions to standing shoulder to shoulder to protect their world, they not only find all the spirit pearls, but also each find the one they love.

Who says saving the world has to be serious? Watch this bunch and their spirit beasts turn the Three Realms upside down, then rub the Demon God into the ground all the same!
