The Eldest Princess Called Off Our Engagement to Marry a Commoner, So I Married the Third Princess Instead, and Now She Regrets It

Princess Yuan Shuang, the eldest princess, toured Jiangnan and returned with a man called Gu Chengfeng.

He said he came from a distant land where everyone was equal and marriage meant one husband and one wife.

The first time Gu Chengfeng saw me, he looked down at me and said, "I will only be the eldest princess's consort."

I glanced at the way the eldest princess was concealing her belly, baffled. "But I was betrothed to the eldest princess when we were children, and our wedding ceremony is to be held in a month. What are we supposed to do now?"

The eldest princess said, "Chengfeng and I love each other. Step aside and let someone more worthy take your place."

I laughed. My father was the Grand Marshal Who Guards the State, in command of all the armies under heaven.

Yuan Shuang thought that being born to the imperial family meant she could humiliate me however she pleased. I'm afraid she picked the wrong person.
