Mirror Image: The Yoshikawa Twins

Mirror Image Twins tells the story of Kawakami Tomie and Qiu Yingying. Kawakami Tomie attends Liang High School. A gray birthmark on the left side of her face and facial paralysis leave her isolated at school. Qiu Yingying attends Jichuan Middle School and faces the same difficulties, with a birthmark on the left side of her face and facial paralysis. She, too, is ostracized by her classmates.

One day, by chance, Qiu Yingying thinks she sees another version of herself reflected in the window of an old bookstore. Later, Kawakami Tomie rescues Sakuma Haruka from a group of delinquent boys. To thank her, Haruka invites Tomie for coffee and notices that they share a similar aura. Their paths seem to have nothing in common, yet this uncanny resemblance binds them together. But there may be secrets lurking behind them. Is it coincidence, or has fate deliberately brought them together? Is this simply a resemblance, or are they supernatural mirror-image twins? As the story unfolds, they begin to affect each other's lives, while a school cultural festival, a debt dispute, and other elements enter the picture. The future is full of uncertainty and suspense.
